Thursday, March 24th, 2016 – Just four (4) days after Spring arrived in Ontario the GTA including Oakville, Burlington and Milton were hit by an ice storm that left nearly 1cm of ice on driveways, roads, walkways, trees and vehicles. Reported by the OPP there have been an estimated 225 collisions since Midnight due to drivers not driving according to weather conditions. Halton Snow Removal, our sister company worked diligently all night in an effort to salt their residential and commercial clients to ensure safety this morning. Later today as temperatures begin to rise we will see heavy rain which will result in even more dangerous roads and a possibility of flooding.
